Demonstrations of NCRI supporters in Brussels Simultaneous with the European Union meeting, calling for Blacklisting IRGC

On Monday, January 23, 2023, NCRI supporters in Brussels held a demonstration in front of the European Union headquarters, demanding the blacklisting of the IRGC as a terrorist organization. Referring to the decisive resolution of the European Parliament on the listing of IRGC, the Iranians asked the European Union to respect the opinion of the representatives of more than 450 million people in Europe, in support of the people of Iran, and put the IRGC on the terrorist list of the European Union.

Mr. Paolo Casaca, a former member of the European Parliament, thanked them for their efforts to blacklist the IRGC.

Senator Marc Demesmaeker from Belgium and a former member of the European Parliament, joined demonstrators, “I have come to convey to you the message of many of my colleagues in the federal, regional parliaments , and senate and the European Parliament. We want the IRGC to be listed, and there is no doubt that the IRGC is responsible for terrorism in the region and the world. They are cooperating with Russia in the war in Ukraine, and when criminals join forces, disasters happen. Mr. Borrel, I wish you had the courage to do what you had to do for 5 minutes like the demonstrators here and in Iran who are fighting with their lives against the IRGC.” he said.

Dr. Taherzadeh, a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, in his speech, referring to the role of the Iranian resistance in advancing the revolution in Iran, said: This is the street that determines everything, the resistance units in Iran and today you in Brussels. He demanded an end to the dirty policy of appeasement and listing of the IRGC as a terrorist organization.

Mehdi Nobari from the Human Rights Association, Soroush Abutalebi and Ali Bagheri from the Youth Association were other speakers of this program. In his speech, Mr. Mehdi Nobari, referring to the role of the Revolutionary Guards in killing Iranian people and suppressing protests, considered the listing of the Revolutionary Guards as an effective measure to support the Iranian people. Mr. Soroush Abutalebi pointed out the destructive role of IRGC in the region and the world and considered blacklisting of the IRGC as a necessity for peace in the region and the world. In his speech, referring to the ten-point plan of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, Ali Bagheri considered the dissolution of the Revolutionary Guards as one of the first demands of the Iranian people and resistance, and called for an end to the policy of appeasement by the European Union and the listing of the Revolutionary Guards.
