Simultaneous with Belgium’s Federal Parliament resolution condemning the misogynist religious dictatorship ruling Iran, a rally was held outside the Federal Parliament on Thursday, November 9, 2022. The rally was in solidarity with the ongoing protests in Iran for democracy and freedom in Iran.
Based on information published by the main Iranian opposition, the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI), during the past 55 days, the protests have spread to 218 cities across Iran. The regime’s repressive forces have killed at least 550 protesters, and over 30,000 have been arrested and sent to the regime’s medieval prisons.
The rally will voice the protesters and the grieving families of the martyrs. A photo exhibition of the uprising is also displayed at the venue.
Protesters asked clear demands to put more sanctions on IRGC which has the control of more than 50% of the economics in Iran, they also asked to put more pressures on Iran to release the protesters, and protect their lives that are at stake.
